About Deforestation

This is Whiskers, the wisest Meerkat in the Group Rosebud.

This is Xing Kee, a pup recently born in the Group Rosebud.

This is Flower, the dominant female.

This is Jay, the dominant male.

 These are the Rosebuds.

About Deforestation
"Run!" alarmed Flower. But it was too late, an eagle had suddenly swooped down and grabbed Whiskers with its large talons. Whiskers, the wisest meerkat grimaced in pain. Whiskers was Flower's father, but gave his dominance to the dominant male, Jay. Without hesitation, Jay and his family charged towards the eagle, who immediately let go of Whiskers. "Grandpa! Don't die!" said Whiskers's grandchild, Xing Kee. "Let me tell you a story," said Whiskers slowly. "Beware! Beware of the coming dangers, towards us." "Why do you say that? Father." asked Jay. "Just listen to my last words. Will you?" Whiskers said again. "Sure, we all will." said Flower.

"Let me tell you a something about deforesation. Cutting down trees is called deforestation. Other animals in this world are endangered. Usually, the main cause of it is deforestation, cutting down their home leaves them homeless. Forced to leave, the animals usually venture into lands that human rule, and get eaten by them."

"Grandpa, why do humans do that?" asked Xing Kee. "Because they are greedy, they don't understand what are they doing. They don't know that there will serious trouble if they continue to do what they are doing. Their brain, I guess have became rusty." said Whiskers. "Father, can we wipe out human beings?" asked Jay. "Sure you can't. Silly. Their numbers are huge. But their brains are always thinking about money. Don't care anything around them. Silly right?" "Yep, Grandpa. Are you in pain?" Xing Kee asked.

"Yes. I am going soon. You must take care. Remember, don't think about what they will do to us. Carry on with life. Be yourself. I don't think that humans would come here because it is humid. Goodbye now." said Whiskers as he gradually closed his eyes and stopped breathing. "Grandpa! Don't die!" Xing Kee screamed. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"Let's go." said Flower. "No! I will not go! I want Grandpa!" Xing Kee shouted. "Go means go."said Jay. Then, the Rosebuds including Xing Kee ran back to their burrow.

Under the Ocean and Above The Lands Problem

This is Christine, the Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin.

This is Karen and her young Hayla.

This is Nori, the Spinner Dolphin. He is Christine's best friend, even through they live in different parts of the world.

Under the polluted Sea and Lands full of Rubbish
Once upon a time in Planet Earth, where beautiful seas lie, where trees and flowers grow in abundance and where the creatures live, there was always happiness. In the ocean, you can find Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins or Pink Dolphins in shallow waters playing happily in some parts of the world. Spinner Dolphins can be found near the attic spinning above water joyfully in deep waters and Giraffes chewing fresh and green leaves in Africa. All is well until the day when humans rule the planet. "Humans are cruel, humans are evil, humans shall die a terrible death!" the animals and plants always says. They said it day and night, and they never got tired of that poem.

Three good friends, Christine the Pink Dolphin, Karen and Hayla the giraffes and Nori the spinner dolphin are always curious about their surroundings and nature. Even though Nori was the dominant male, he could not stop wondering why humans this, when humans that or what humans what. So, on a sunny morning, he went online and talked about humans with Karen and Christine.  Actually, Nori likes Christine more than ever, that is why is refuses to  mate within his pod of dolphins. "Hi... ... Karen and Nori!" said Christine. "Hello, Christine. Err... ... nevermind. Actually, what do you think that humans will do to us?" said Nori. "Well, they have been throwing rubbish onto my territory," said Karen, "And what's more is that my Hayla had almost mistaked a green plastic bag for food and almost ate it. Or maybe if she ate it, it might be worse, maybe Hayla will suffocate." "Friends, my mate in my pod was trapped in the nets because fishermen had forgotten to pull them up, and then she died a terrible death." said Nori. "My case is different, my best mate in the pod was caught and then it was pulled up by a huge ship and suddenly, blood came out of the ship as the humans on the ship killed him. And actually, I like him alot." said Christine quickly. Nori was a little shocked when he heard Christine said what she had just said about she liking someone else.

"So many things had happened to our pods and herds, and now, they are cutting down trees and those who love nature is only a small number. They cannot do anything about it. But what they call trees being cut down is deforestation, when people throw rubbish in the sea, they call it pollution, lands being filled up with rubbish are called landfills. And lastly, what they call killing whales and dolphins for their meat is whaling." said Wise Karen. "You are clever Karen, but I also know something, humans also kill animals like tigers and clouded leopards for their body parts or their skin." said Christine. "Yeah, I also know that, but sometimes when humans burn stuff like smoking, or maybe chopping down trees, the machine lets out gases which pollutes the air." Nori replied.

"What time is it now? I think Hayla is hungry, I need to go feed her. See Ya!" "Bye Karen, see you." said Nori and Christine together. "Bye Nori," said Christine, "I need to get ready to mate tomorrow." "What? You are going to what?" said Nori. "Mate with the new dominent male tomorrow. I am so pleased to be a mother. Anyway, why are you so suprised? Didn't you mate and become a father?" "Sorry, and nevermind, congratulations! Bye and See Ya!" said Nori sadly. "Bye." said Christine.

After the conversation, all three friends thought hard about how to wipe out human population and regain their control over Planet Earth. But the results are clear to everone that animals will never succeed unless something is done to conserve them and repect them.

Animal Conversation

This is Laura, the Banded Leaf Monkey.

This is Adeline, the Leaping Lemur.

This is the polar bear, Nikisha and her two cubs. They live in the North Pole.

Global Warming
Once upon a time, in Planet Earth, there lived three best friends, a Banded Leaf Monkey whoose name was Laura. A Leaping Lemur named Adeline and a polar bear with cubs named Nikisha. Nikisha's cubs names were Furry and Pawy. Even though they lived in different parts of the world, their friendship can never be broken... ... But how did they got to know each other? They met each other while surfing the net. Ever since they knew each other, they started to send photos, postcards and more.

One sunny Monday morning, while Laura was surfing the net, Nikisha and Adeline were having a pleasent conversation. After a while, they decided to invite Laura into the conversation too. " Hi Nikisha and Adeline! It is getting hotter and hotter everyday, don't you realise?" asked Laura. " Well, it sure is getting hotter and hotter everyday here in Madagascar! Well, Laura, I also don't know why I have been losing part of my home day by day too! When I sleep at night, it is usually cool and nice, but ever since I have been losing my home, It got stuffer and stuffer and I can't sleep!" exclaimed Adeline. "Well friends, it is also getting hotter here in the North Pole. In winter I need the ice to hunt for ring seals to eat and feed my children, or they will starve. Actually my kids don't really eat solid food, they drink my milk that I produce, and if I don't eat, I cannot produce milk! I have been waiting for the ice to freeze in winter and I soon realise that I had been waiting longer and longer for the ice to freeze every year." said Nikisha.

"Friends," said Laura, "do you have any idea what is happening? I don't wanna die!" "Of course you don't want to die! Silly girl! I shall go check the internet for more information or what is happening around the world now and Nikisha, you and Laura continue the conversation. Ok?" said Adeline quickly. Nikisha said "Sure! I'll do." And so, Adeline went to search the internet, and asked the lemurs community club if they had any idea what is happening, and she soon found out what she wanted. "Guys!" said Adeline. " We are not guys!" said Laura in disgust. " Ok, whatsoever Laura! By the way, I got some bad news... ... What is happening to world now is Global Warming! And the main cause of it is humans!" "Ok, and why did you take 3 whole hours just to find so little information!" said Nikisha angrily. "Sorry, but Madagascar is huge, it is the fourth largest island in Planet Earth. What's more is that the community club is so far from my home, I took an hour to go there by foot and I found some infomation there and I also did a little research there. By the time I got home, it was three hours gone." said Adeline.

"Global Warming is caused by greenhouse gases like methane and carbon dioxide that rises into the atmosphere and acts like a thick blanket. When sunlight and heat comes to Earth, these greenhouse gases traps the sun's heat, not letting them return to space. But of course, there must also be greenhouse gases in the atmosphere to keep this planet warm." said Adeline. "I see, so our enemies are humans then!" said the young Banded Leaf Monkey. " It is not as easy as you think, Laura because humans come in very huge numbers and they are strong, very strong and the three of us live in different places for a reason. Nikisha lives in the cold and I only lives in Madagascar." "I am tired," said Nikisha, "It is late, we should go to sleep, good night."

And so, after hearing this, the three friends thought hard about how to defeat humans, but they will never win the battle. Ever... ... Unless something is done to conserve these endangered species of animals, or else we will regret for not being able to see them again.

The End!
